Startup funding for new businesses!
If you reading this, I will assume that you have indeed been looking for a while or maybe you are just lucking to find a blog with where to start a business with funding! You are in the right location. See many do not start with a plan. I would say some don't even process that you are not a real business until you start making money. Well to really get a business going it going to take some moolah! In my search I have found a couple of companies to provide you with assistance.
The first company is KIVA. They loan up to 15k. This is perfect for new companies and there are 0 start-up fees!
Next, is Accion. They loan up to 250k for 5 years. This is a great company if you are looking for training and mentoring.
Then we have Grameen America. Where are all my Women Entrepreneurs? This is great for women start-ups. They loan up to 15k and is in 15 cities.
Let's not forget the SBA, Small Business Association. This is a great place to get a lot of free information and training. They have online webinars and you can also setup a free one to one counseling for your business.
Minority Business Development Agency is the only federal agency tasked with promoting the growth and competitiveness of minority-owned businesses.
National Black MBA Association is a nonprofit organization founded in 1970 at the University of Chicago. They are dedicated to the enhancement and economical empowerment for African Americans.
Grants.gov is a learning center as well as, a place to search for grants in the area needed. On their site they also teaches you some grant writing tips. Who doesn't like free money!
Smart Biz is the last one. Smart Biz is a good choice for small businesses that want to obtain an SBA-backed loan in a short amount of time.
You can also check with local chapters to provide assistance with grant funding. Don't forget starting a business is exciting but having some funds to support you is important. Start with a plan and work it! Revise it as needed and get a mentor in the same field that has accomplished the goals you are trying to reach!
